Beautiful beach, laid-back family break

点评：The hotel grounds and surrounding location are beautiful! The beach was a favourite area with clear shallow waters perfect for young children with sunbeds on the beach near the watersports area (30 mins of use free each day: SUP, kayak, peddalo) or there's a decked area with steps into the water and the beach bar behind (you have to watch the kids more here as the water is deeper, but there's sand between the sunbeds for them to play, food/drink very close by and lots of fish to watch!) The Beach Bar service is excellent with friendly, hard-working staff. The buffet restaurants were perfect for us as a family (we didn't try any a la carte for evening as the buffet restaurant was excellent quality and choice). Again, very hard-working staff. For breakfast, the smaller restaurant Kottina was lovely, much quieter.
Bar areas are beautiful, but there was a lack of Evening entertainment for children within the bar (the kids disco at the kids club was away from the bars with no-where for parents to sit and it only lastest half an hour). Live music was great, but it would have been good to have had something aimed towards children on some of the nights seeing as it was half term holiday. Face painting was popular though.
Loved our room, loved the aqua park with infinity pool, the convenient bus into Corfu Town (cost €2 euro each way, 40min transfer) and there was a cruise included in our price which we booked up once there (takes you to a southern corfu beach).
Highly recommend the hotel, but if you're going with kids, take games/i-pads for them in the evenings to entertain or play with as a family.
