Gaucho Steakhouse的点评
点评：My husband and I have eaten at gauchos many times over the years. Last night we took another couple with us. We were always satisfied with our experience and even preferred it to other restaurants with the same rodizio style….until last night. I gave them 2 stars because most of the meats were tender and flavorful, unfortunately there were a few that were tough and grizzly on multiple different passes; and the salad bar still offered a variety of good foods. The MOST disappointing part of the evening was the service, or lack of. Plates, glasses and bottles were left on the table so much so we had to move things to the window sill so we could eat comfortably. Our original server came by intermittently but did not offer to take anything away and left before we could ask. The most disappointing part of the service was when multiple servers, one of which we believed to be a manager, reached over our guest to serve me. Only to walk around the table, pass me, to serve the table behind us!! If I were eating at a restaurant where the price is not suppose to identify more than the food quality we may have been OK with the poor service but Gauchos was always a place, we felt, offered excellent service as well as good food and ambiance. But it was abundantly obvious that is not the case anymore. Then there was dessert. Our friend and myself ordered dessert and coffee….. 40 minutes later, yes 40, neither our dessert or coffee has been served. And there was her food plate, 2 wine glasses, two beer glasses, the bread and the dessert menu still on the table. We had been told once by our server the person making the desserts did not want to be bothered while working so she was unable to get in and get our coffee!!??. And then there was the check. We know it’s a couple of hundred dollars when we eat at Gauchos but it use to be worth it …. NOT any more. There use to be a comment card in the bill binder but that too is not offered. It occurred to my husband and myself this restaurant is also aware of their deterioration in offering an enjoyable dining experience.
