点评:We were here for two nights. We've stayed here several times over the years while visiting family in the area. This is an older Hampton, and it shows. It's not a bad place to stay, but seems below average compared to the typical Hampton. The location is good---right off I-75, but far enough away from the interstate that there is no road noise. It's only a quarter mile from Sterling State Park which is on Lake Erie. Staff are not unfriendly, but their attitude seems to be "tired"---not excited about working there. The hotel doesn't seem to get the crowd we saw in past visits, perhaps because there are newer hotels right down the street.
Our double queen room was fine---a bit dated, but with all the features typical for the chain. The breakfast buffet was also typical Hampton, but with nothing that stood out. There is a small indoor pool. The fitness room is nothing special. Overall, this is an OK place to stay, but seems to need a "refreshing". One redeeming feature was that the room rate was low, but this might have been because we were there on a holiday weekend where occupancy might have been low.
