Red Heat Tavern的点评
点评：Visited for the first time with a friend. This location is set back off of Route 9 (westbound side, heading towards Shrewsbury and Worcester) in a plaza where everything else has apparently gone out of business.
Luckily Red Heat is the first thing you could to so you don't have to venture back towards the failed businesses.
Very nice outdoor seating area with shade umbrellas. Nice interior. We were waited on right away. Server was very pleasant and happily corrected an error (I ordered a wrap sandwich and not the bulkie roll that was first brought out - this was rectified immediately).
We ordered the cornbread with honey butter - delicious and simple for two. Good enough to want to lick the pan clean.
My chicken/avocado wrap was delicious. It came cut in half and I was full after the first half. Happily that left me the second half for dinner. I ordered regular fries, which were crispy and cooked perfectly. Fries come in a little silver thingy that looks like what Friendly's served ice cream and sundaes in. This is cute but limits the fries. You'd get more if they were just set on the plate.
No crowd at 1pm on a sunny Saturday.
Delicious food. Glad we went. World be even better if a wrap and fries cost $10.95 or $11.95 instead of $15.95 but the price of food in general has gone haywire since COVID.
