Storrowton Tavern & Carriage House的点评
点评：We went to Storrowton on a Thursday for our anniversary and sat out on the patio on a beautiful evening. We have been there many times over the years so we expected a certain level of quality and service. We ordered wine, appetizer, prime rib and scrod. The service was quite slow but that happens and we were not in a hurry anyway. However, the meals were disappointing and while slow is ok, inattentive and inept is not. No bread was offered, no returns with 'everything ok?' and water refills were only brought with dessert. The fish was overcooked and dry as were the overcooked mushy vegetables. The baked potatoes did not come with butter or sour cream and when we finally got to ask for some it took 15 minutes for butter only and our entre was finished and the potato was stone cold. no horseradish or offer of any and our waitress was gone in a flash. We heard from the waitress at the next table that they were 'out of popovers' even though there was plenty of time to bake more while we waited for our meals. I guess that we didn't get the A team on a Thursday but we left disappointed and won't be back anytime soon.
