点评：I made a reservation here based on my previous experiences coming here for an elegant dinner experience. My husband & I drove here to celebrate a close friend’s 80th birthday. Knowing it’s a bit of a drive from the Cape , but we figured it would be worth the trip……well it most certainly was not. The whole experience was a complete disappointment, and we will not be back. We arrived @ 4:30 for a 5:00 reservation & were told they weren’t ready for us yet. We sat in the entry near the fireplace and the area quickly filled with about 20 people. At 5 pm we were all told to follow the hostess into the dining area….all of us at once …… i thought to myself “this is an odd way of doing things.” It was very disorganized and confusing. We were seated and given menus. The waitress took our drink orders and brought them to us. Then suddenly in the middle of taking our dinner order said she had to leave and left & we were introduced to another waitress who who said she was taking over. She was very pleasant & attentive. I ordered shrimp cocktail and both shrimp not only smelled bad they were all slimy! How did they miss that. When I mentioned it to the waitress she quickly apologized and removed them offering to replace them, I said just take them off the bill. My husband got the filet mignon & it didn’t look or taste like filet mignon and couldn’t have been smaller. Both of his sides , mashed potatoes & squash were cold as were my sides and our friend.s as well. My husband ordered the cheesecake for dessert and it was very small. Overall , no white tablecloths anymore….we were told they did away with that. Nothing elegant about the way the whole evening went and we will not be back.
