点评：Weird experience. This wasn’t our first rodeo, as we have been on various charters and party boats. The first odd thing was making a reservation. You have to call, their website is pretty useless. The girl who answered literally just took my first name. She didn’t give me any information on when to arrive, no confirmation email…nothing. On the day of, we show up, pay $30 to park, and then find out the trip is cancelled due to wind. I wish there was some way for them to tell us that… even an update on their Facebook page would have been nice. I rescheduled for the following day. The next morning comes and it was still windy. I called and called and called and there was no answer. I certainly didn’t want to pay another $30 to park or waste another day trying to get on a cancelled boat trip. So we just didn’t go. I called later in the afternoon and yes, the trip had been cancelled. I found the complete lack of communication strange. Nevertheless I tried a third time and we finally got on the boat. One of the mates gave a brief overview of how to use the equipment and we didn’t see him or hear from him again. If I was a novice I would have had no idea. The family next to us were first timers and we spent half the trip trying to untangle our rods from theirs. No help from the crew. Actually not a word from the captain or crew the entire trip. We dropped lines, got nothing, and after exactly 60 seconds he said “lines up” and then we drove 15 min to another spot with no fish. We did this 15 times. It was just stupid and very very obvious that they knew there were no fish and we were literally just going through motions. The entire boat got skunked without even a bite. Half way into it people gave up and kids just started running around the boat playing tag. Captain gave us our four hours on the water, docked the boat, and we got off. No communication, no apology, no farewell. I understand that there is no guarantee you will get fish but I felt like they knew it was going to be a bad trip but took our money anyway. That’s the first time that’s happened to us and we won’t be returning. It was definitely a huge disappointment and the fact that we didn’t get any fish wouldn’t have been so bad if the service was better. For $250 the whole thing left a bad taste in my mouth.
