点评：This place was an iconic dive bar-no more. I'm told by the locals it was purchased by a conglomerate or small company. Apparently their business plan was to employ “Bar Rescue” methods at the expense of historical success. This business was sold because of retirement and not because it was failing.
P Towns attraction is being unconventional, this is the only bar in town that uses a device that checks your ID and takes your photo for a data base-what do they do with the info? They don’t even ask permission. It’s made worse by the African American man at the door that is rude, obnoxious, and is overly cocky.
This place is now a generic Applebees. They remodeled and destroyed the personality of a bar that’s been here for 80 years-well done. The food here is simply food, the drinks rushed and the service poor.
The only reason it gets any business is because of Karaoke-its the only one in town.
Don’t take my word, ask the locals. It’s jumped the Shark and instead of Fonzi’s thumbs up, it’s a BIG thumbs down!
