Wimpy's Seafood Market & Cafe的点评
点评：We used to love Wimpy's and it was our "go to" restaurant when we had visitors. How sad it truly is to see it decline so much in quality of the food and the overall service (although our favorite waiter did his best to serve us in a timely manner despite being the only server we noticed in the restaurant). We made reservations for a Friday night expecting Wimpy's to be filled to the brim with customers - WRONG. The place was virtually empty - a sign of the decline evident with this restaurant.
We sat with nothing but glasses of water for over 1/2 an hour! No one to take our drink orders or to bring us our drinks once they were ordered and there was no bread delivered to the table.
When we finally did get to put our orders in and were served I noticed that the plate size had changed and was much smaller to give the illusion of more food on your plate when in fact there was less than in previous years. The potatoes I once loved so much, sour cream and hash, were a white glob of potato mess and the scrod was tasteless. Our daughter's chicken caesar salad, once her favorite meal there, had chicken so chewy she could not eat it. Her boyfiend's sandwich had so much spice on it he could not eat it.
Overall a dismal meal, but as always our waiter was so nice. I think he knew we were not pleased with the service or our meals and he went above and beyond to be personable.
