点评:My son and I order takeout from Wendy’s almost every weekend. (I know it’s junk food, but he’s a teen, it’s his favorite, and it promotes time together, so…) We always use the Mobile App so that we can order our sandwiches how we want them with far fewer mistakes than verbal ordering. We’ve been doing this for awhile and have always had a good experience. The last time we went, however, was a different story. I pulled up to the drive through and gave my name for the Mobile order. The man asked me if we wanted to come in and pick it up. I was unshowered and in yoga pants. I ordered for drive through pick up because I WANTED drive through pick up. I declined to go inside and he said “ok, drive around.” I get to the window and he tells me to pull forward and someone would bring our food out. I did. Then we watched while every single car that was behind us in line was served and had left. When there were no more cars in the drive through, I waited for our food to be brought out. Nothing. Nothing. An ADDITIONAL 5 minutes past with NO ONE at the drive through and STILL our food wasn’t brought out. Finally, I went in - unshowered and in (essentially) pajamas - to find out where our food was. I was told it wasn’t ready yet!!! WHY did I lose my place in line just because I did a Mobile order???? It’s not like it was a huge order …. It was literally 2 $5 Biggie Bags and one extra cheeseburger! We were treated like we were a PITA when we literally didn’t order very much AND one would THINK a Mobile order should be EASIER when everything is written out rather than trying to type it in from verbal instructions. AND it is completely unprofessional that we should lose our place in line when we ordered before all the cars that were served before they even STARTED our order!!! Very poor customer relations. I really hope this isn’t indicative of how it’s going to be from now on because I really look forward to this bonding time with my son!!
