点评:We have been loyal customers of Il Forno since its owner, Mike, first opened his (then) BYOB restaurant in a strip mall on Airport Road in Fitchburg back in the early 1990s.
That main location expanded several times and is now located in our (now) home town of Lunenburg where it is a great hub for dining, functions and catering.
The Littleton location, excellently managed by Cindy, who is GM of the restaurants, and who has been with Mike almost from the beginning, is our go to (mid point) place for dining with our friends who live on the north shore. We have also had a great experience using the private room in Littleton for a baby shower.
The food at either location is consistently excellent and the staff are all personable and attentive. Special shout out to IZZY in Littleton who put the enjoyment exclamation point on our most recent dinner with her perfect service and engaging, up best personality and, who along with Cindy, and (owner) Mike, help to make Il Forno warm, inviting and a stand out.
The dishes that we can recommend are too numerous to list but, our most favorites include the veal Sicilino, the haddock Frances, the eggplant Rollatini, the seafood stuffed mushroom appetizer, the seafood Il Forno and the escarole bean soup. But, honestly, anything that we’ve tried has been delicious!
Both locations are easily accessible and have ample parking.
Once you try either location, you’ll be a repeat customer, as we have been for over 30 years.
