点评:We were staying at the Inn and looked forward to dining at what’s promoted as their flagship restaurant. Unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired.
While the service was friendly, the overall execution felt rushed and lacking in quality. Portions were extremely small across the board. The foie gras was paired with a brioche that was so hard it was difficult to eat. The amuse-bouche and petit fours from the pastry chef felt more like an afterthought—tiny, bland, and forgettable.
The lobster gnocchi, one of the more expensive dishes at $60, had barely any lobster. It was plated like a small appetizer rather than a true entrée. For the price point, we expected something far more generous and flavorful.
At 9 PM, while several tables were still dining, the staff began setting up for breakfast and just 60 minutes into our meal, we were handed the check without having asked for it (had been offered dessert though).
We left after only 62 minutes, having spent $400. For a restaurant positioned as a fine dining experience, this felt rushed, overpriced, and ultimately disappointing.
We live in Copenhagen Denmark, one of the best food cities in the world so we are prepared to pay a lot (more) for nice food. Would suggest other restaurants in nearby Chatham like The Impudent Oyster (really good) or Bluefins.
