Pine Lodge Steakhouse的点评
点评：My wife and I were out here on a small vacation. We love a good steakhouse, and this one had some good reviews. None were too recent, and now I know why. We came on Mother’s Day and were expecting a crowd. It was relatively empty which should have been a red flag. They featured two cocktails on the specials, and the waitress could not explain either of them. The menu made reference to a special preparation of their flank streak. I asked about that, and she had no clue. I ordered the ‘famous crab soup’ and wedge salad which the waitress decided to bring out together for some reason. The crab soup was mostly potatoes and onion, little crab. Try the cream of crab at Dutch’s instead for the real deal. The salad had real pieces of bacon along with canister bacon bits. Too odd although the salad and its blue cheese dressing was pretty good. My wife’s prime rib and my filet were just ok. I ordered mine med rare and half was while the other half was med well??
On top of her having no idea about the menu, the waitress would disappear for long clips. Another waitress noticed and gave us sorry looks and ran our credit card when she disappeared again. I will skip this place. This was the only disappointment we had at local restaurants. The Moonshadow, Brenda’s pizza, little Sandy’s and Dutch’s at silver lake were all great. This was not.
