点评：Last week I drove over to Edgewood to try a little restaurant that had seemed to be closed most of the past year due to covid. I was happily surprised to discover that it had been replaced by Dakari's which appeared to be fully functional. The challenge is that the former place opened at breakfast, while Dakari's opens at 11am. Fortunately there was helpful staff member on duty who brought be a menu to take home and study. Today, because of the cold, I decided to treat myself at home with a delivery order. The catfish bites were just the right size for an appetizer and were crispy on the outside with flaky white fish inside. The jerk chicken was well roasted, and the jerk sauce had just the right flavor and heat. It was served on a bed of rice and peas, and I accompanied that with an additional side of collards with hints of ham. An unexpected piece of sweet cornbread became my dessert. If the weather improves, I am looking forward to going in person to try the list of weekend specials.
