Broken Spoke Vineyard and Winery的点评
点评：We have come here multiple times. The last time was yesterday. It said they opened at 12, we got there at 12. The barn was not open and they said we had to go to the tasting room which was fine.
Then they gave us a hard time about not having a reservation. by the time we moved over to the barn at one, there was literally one other table in there. We were celebrating a birthday and had brought one separate cookie in for somebody with horrible food allergies. The girl in the barn made it very clear that no outside food was allowed due to a state law according to her, that said that. We tried to explain that we wanted this person to be able to have a cookie since we couldn't guarantee anything in there was safe. And double checked that she was OK with this person possibly getting sick by eating food from the one vendor they had with desserts, and she said yes. That no outside food was allowed. Apparently Maryland has a new state law saying that you cannot bring food into wineries. Haven't been able to find that yet. we all got flights in the tasting room, and when we went to move to the barn, we asked for a real glass to pour the bottles of wine in when we made it to the barn. We were told that we could not use one. That they didn't have glass in there. When we pointed out that another table had glass, they said that came from their tastings. We pointed out that we had all spent money on tastings in the other room. Could we just use one and not keep it. And we were told no. So we spent more money on tastings in the tasting room then we would have spent in the barn. and nobody gave us a glass. Servers were rude. The music was subpar.
Needless to say, we will not be back. But we will be sure to tell everybody to stay away if they have any sort of food allergy once again, since Maryland now has a brand new state law that nobody knew about according to the girl that works there.
basically, they don't have their stuff together. The times are wrong. The staff is rude.
Don't waste your time going here when there's so many more amazing wineries in Maryland
