点评：As I told my server when I paid my check, this was one of the best meals I've had in a long time!
I had the hamburger steak with onions and gravy. The steak was cooked perfectly! Too many places overcook or even burn their chopped steak or hamburger steak. Kline's doesn't! The gravy and sliced onions were also perfect. For vegetables, I had coleslaw and green beans. Again, excellent! The only thing that would've improved the supper would've been offering butter with green beans. The offered dinner roll was also first-rate.
The only opportunity for improvement would be offering Splenda as an available artificial sweetener. They only offer Sweet-N-Low and Equal. Both of which I detest.
The available pies for desert is the reason for the title of this review. They looked so good. And, I was so full! Yes, the portions are not only reasonable, but at the menu prices, are a good value.
They have daily specials on a white board that's easy to miss when you walk in. Stop and take a look. Given the quality on the everyday menu, the specials could truly be "special".
Service was courteous and super-fast.
