Reckless Shepherd Brewing Co.的点评
点评：Stopped in to this "new-ish" brewery. They used to be RECKLESS BREWERY next door to the old Frisco's Taphouse location in Colmbia. But the never seemed to be open.
Positives - The place is adjacent to the new Frisco's Taphouse, and connected by an inside door. It's a large space with couch-seating, a bar, a stage and huge screen.
They do have a food menu, a pizza oven and a full bar.
Negatives - They don't offer flights (but do offer small tastings of anything I wanted). They don't have anything to go -- no crowlers (machine broke) and no cans. Their merch - left something to be desired. Very generic, and pretty much the same shirt design.
The beers - I'll preface by saying that I've been to a TON of breweries all across the US and beyond. A ton. This one has a lot of potential -- but at this point, none of the 4-5 beers that I tried were like "Wow!" that's a great or unique beer. Very generic. Nothing like a signature beer - like a Jean Quad from Checkerspot; a Flaked from Sapwood; Everything All the Time Helles from Diamondback; or a White Tail or Cicada from True Respite. Nothing that would make me want to buy some to-go beers, or clamoring to go back.
It also seems like a brewery that wants to be a restaurant - but can't because that's next door. It's definitely missing an identity, and the staff was un-rememberable.
Bathrooms: Clean
Parking: Pave and fee
Service: Blah. Totally lacked energy.
- You'd think he worked in the bedding department at Target.
Beers: Nothing remarkable
Food: Didn't try.
Ambiance: Decent considering it was dead on a week day afternoon.
Would recommend: To scratch it off the list
Would re-patronize: Probably not
