点评：Our family recently dined at Morton's Steakhouse in Bethesda, and while the service was excellent, the food left us feeling underwhelmed, given the restaurant's reputation and price point.
We started with the large seafood platter, which was good but not quite on par with what we've experienced at Eddie V's. The presentation was impressive, but the flavors didn't stand out as much as we hoped.
For the main course, we chose the Tomahawk steak. While it was cooked properly, it lacked the depth of flavor you'd expect for such a premium cut at this price. It felt like it needed more seasoning or a better sear to elevate it to a truly memorable dish.
On the side, we ordered the truffle French fries, but they were disappointing. There was no discernible truffle aroma or taste, making them seem like ordinary fries. The brussel sprouts and spinach sides also fell flat, missing the bold flavors or seasonings that could have made them shine.
The saving grace of our meal was the exceptional service. The staff was attentive and professional, ensuring we were comfortable throughout the evening. They were clearly well-trained and committed to providing a great dining experience.
While we appreciated the great service, the food didn't quite meet our expectations. We were hoping for a more flavorful and memorable meal for the price point and Morton's esteemed reputation.
