点评:This is a restaurant for people who are serious and open-minded about trying different taste and texture combinations-- often with unusual ingredients. The menu is creative and delicious, the servers well-versed in the wine list and the menu options. Two of our group chose the prix fixe option ($100) without the wine pairings. It was a very tasty lineup and the portions are generous enough without being overwhelming. The other two ate from the a la carte menu which is the same. The Caesar is unusual and delicious-- so often a restaurant goes too far in remaking the classic. That was not the case here. The celeriac that opened the meal was an unexpected YUM inducer. The mussels made the diner smile. The white asparagus was unexpectedly liquid rather than spears and it was a delicious soup-like appetizer. The beef entree was a hit as were the potatoes that came with. Everyone loved the two desserts-- they aren't huge but after the rest of the meal, half a dessert was the perfect closer. The service is top notch and attentive. Good food takes time-- if you're having a full meal, this is not a quick bite to eat. The appetizer options are great so a drink and a bite are possible. It is much quieter on the patio than inside during their busy times-- it can get very loud inside.
