The Blind Pig Tavern的点评
点评：The previous review nailed it ("Never felt more unwelcome"). We had a bad experience at the Blind Pig in 2021, getting poor service, extremely long waits and lots of excuses and blame being passed along (the cook's fault, new menu, etc., etc.). After a lengthy delay getting anyone to serve us, we then waited over an hour for our food, with no communication from anyone unless we flagged someone down. No apologies, nothing; whoever you spoke with it was somebody else's fault.
We decided to give it another try this week but learned our lesson from the previous experience and cut it short. After waiting at the hostess desk for 5 minutes, being ignored by two servers, the hostess came out to seat us (the issue wasn't the hostess but more so her two colleagues ignoring us). It was a beautiful early evening. We saw two high tops outside and asked for one of them. We were told no, without any explanation that we could understand, so we opted to leave as we really wanted to eat outside. When we went outside to leave I asked the server to sit at the high tops and she snapped "No", nothing further, just NO. We continued on our way and she left a rather sarcastic "Have a good evening" as a farewell.
It's really a shame - great location next to Johnson Hall, large capacity, but some of the worst customer service we have ever seen anywhere. We ended up with a nice outside meal down the street, drove by approximately 90 minutes later and there were still some folks eating outside at the Blind Pig, so we're still confused why they refused to seat us outside. I've done hundreds of TripAdvisor reviews and can probably count on one hand how many "1" reviews I've given. I opted not to do a review in 2021 but am covering both after a 2nd bad experience.
