Nicholson Inn的点评
点评：We stayed here twice in October, 2023. We flew into Boston and stayed here prior to driving up to Acadia NP. We stayed here for a night, drove up to Acadia and stayed there for 3 nights, then came back down to Freeport and stayed another night at the Nicholson Inn on our way back down to Boston.
The proprietors were friendly, responsive, and gave us great recommendations for restaurants and local activities. We love to hike and they recommended Wolf's Neck State Park nearby; we went there and spent a couple of hours hiking and really enjoyed that. They also recommended a local restaurant, which was fabulous.
The beds, pillows, blankets, etc., were comfortable. The rooms were cozy and just as expected for an Inn. All rooms have a bathroom. The shower is a little small, but workable. Water pressure is good.
The breakfast was out of this world. You have to experience it. I felt very pampered and loved getting a home-cooked, gourmet breakfast.
Overall, was well worth the money and in a great location for seeing other sights in the area, North and South of here. From the Inn, you can walk to a shopping area, which has an LL Bean outlet and other stores. There is plenty of parking at the Inn and also at the shopping area, but it is walkable to get to stores and restaurants.
