We originally made reservations and she could not get a hold of anyone, because the message machine and contact info did not say that it was off-season. No one would call or email her back. My mother has tried multiple times to contact this hotel over email and phone for several weeks with no answer.
When she finally got ahold of someone, she could not get a clear answer on why she did not hear back. This person did not care and was like whatever, I am calling you now.
This is highly unprofessional and is no way to run a business. Even in the off-season, inquiries need to be attended to. I do not know who you have running the reservations, but they need work in customer service and how to treat customers. It takes two seconds to call back and say yes, we received your confirmation or cancellation. She canceled and did not receive a confirmation email that it was canceled. She was worried that she would be charged if you were not aware of the cancellation.
