Rare Gem in a Lush Greenery
塔拉威拉河旅馆的点评
点评：ur family of three stayed in Tarawera River Lodge for 3 nights in early January 2023. Room number 3 has one sitting room with a single bed and a bedroom with a queen size bed, small separate kitchen and bathroom.
Accommodation is very quiet, we could hear the rapids from Tarawera river that's just steps away. Room was very clean, the beds are extremely comfortable (and new too), I loved the crisp sheets, they felt luxurious. Kitchen is fully equipped, we found everything we needed (except for a kitchen knife - we bought one in local New World supermarket). There is a new heat pump / air conditioner in the bedroom, large flat screen TV, WiFi, large storage cabinet, hair dryer.
Bathroom could do with an update, it was old yet clean. Shower has lovely water pressure and temperature.
There is an off street car park but luckily not right in front of the rooms. There are security cameras operating.
The hosts are lovely people, very friendly, nice and willing to go extra mile to make you feel very welcome.
We found this lodge a perfect spot to start our walks from, next time we will bring bicycles. This is a rare gem.
