Crazy Johnnie's Steak House的点评
点评：Based on the reputation of the old Crazy Johnnie’s, which we ate at regularly, I looked forward to my experience at the newly opened Crazy Johnnie’s.
I waited a few weeks hoping they would work out the new restaurant opening issues.
We went on a rainy Friday night, which excluded using outdoor seating . Upon arriving found smoke parking and upon entering were greeted and seated. First impression was the music was offensively loud , more like a club than a restaurant. The dining area was only half full and very noisy with diners having to talk loudly over the music. The decor is modernistic and nicely lit and furnished.
Our server came and we had a hard time ordering as the music was so loud . We mentioned that to the waitress and she only acknowledged that it was very loud.
Our food came out and was cooked as ordered. Nice portions , prime rib not very flavorful , crazy potatoes buttery and garlicky, green beans tasted like they had just come out the can. The side of etouffe was mostly rice and not very tasty.
Our server did nothing special to make us feel welcomed or valued just the minimum to get us in and out.
Based upon this I’d give a 2.5 if I could but have to give three. We will probably try again and if our experience is not better not go back
