点评：Le Deauville used to be a favorite of ours for celebrating. Sadly, last night was the end of the road. Still good: the mussels and the steak frites. But the evening was ruined when one of our group’s entrees simply did not appear. No explanation, no apology. When we chased someone down to ask- we were told by the owner (who had take. Our order) that the chef had overcooked the dish (pork chop). Since that fact wasn’t mentioned when everyone else got their meals, it seemed unlikely. Anyway, it took 35 minutes (!) for the pork chop to appear, by which time everyone was upset and the rest of the meals had been eaten. So ridiculous. Adding insult to injury, we also experienced poorly prepared (undercooked) and misidentified fish (told it was a snapper - it was not). Since no one ever asked us how the meals were, this was not raised with the staff. At the end, when we told the owner how upset we were, he didn’t charge for the chop (the person by then didn’t even feel like eating it) and gave us a couple of desserts. But none of that could make up for the basic mistakes. We will never go back. Very sad. It has really gone downhill.
