点评：I'd heard good things about this restaurant & couldn't wait to try it. Sadly, it was a huge disappointment. It's unnerving when you go to place your order & the waiter says "I wouldn't order that if I were you. No one ever eats it & we end up throwing it away." While I'm thankful for his advice, it doesn't say much about the restaurant!!! We ended up ordering clam strips ($9.99) as an appetizer & they literally had no flavor. I'm not even sure there were any clams in amongst all the breading. It was almsot like they scooped up a bunch of breading that had fallen into the fryer & called it clam strips! I ordered a fried oyster basket. It came with the described 8 oysters but I've never seen them so tiny - they were maybe the size of a nickle each - probably closer to the size of a dime - and that included liberal breading on them! $11.99 for a basket of fries & eight TINY bites of oysters. My husband got the soft shell crabs ($12.99) and they were unbelievably greasy & had no discernable crab flavor. The cajun fries that came with our meals were tasty but really??? We paid $37 for 2 baskets of fries????? As for the service, it was really bad. The waiter took our orders, it took forever for our food to arrive (and it wasn't crowded at all - there were only a couple of tables filled, the rest of the restaurant was empty), and then we never saw him again! We finally waved down another waiter to get our drinks refilled and later to get our bill. We'll be going to Captain D's from now on - the food is better, you get more for your money, and even if you have to serve yourself, the service is better!
