点评:In my 77 years, I have stayed in some pretty bad motels/hotels. I have never given a review of "1" until now. This was a bad experience from the get-go. The first red flag was the announcement on the marquee that they have "long term renters". We proceeded on. At the front desk, the lady had our reservation under the wrong credit card. She gave us our room on the second floor. I asked if there is an elevator. She replied that there were stairs. I replied that that was a problem with my husband's serious mobility issues. I was met with a blank stare. We asked about the "free" breakfast. There is no breakfast. "Light" or otherwise. Nonetheless, we proceeded to our room. The carpet was filthy, a lamp did not work, some furniture was broken, and the bathroom door appeared to have serious water damage as it was coming apart at the bottom thus exposing the inside of the door. We started to leave for supper only to find that the door would not lock except from the inside with the deadbolt. Locking doors is important to us. The lady said she would give us another room. The room she gave had one bed. Not sufficient for three adults, one being our 48 year old son. We don't do communal sleeping. There were many very unsavory looking people hanging around making us very nervous. We asked for a cancellation, and was told it was done. Then desk clerk gave the impression that "I could not possibly care any less if I tried." I will be checking my credit card very carefully.
