点评：My experience at this place was incredibly disappointing, and it’s frustrating to have to write this. When I arrived a few hours after the official check-in time, no one was there to greet me. After waiting around, the owner eventually showed up, but he had no idea when the room would be ready and told me to come back in 30 minutes. I returned two hours later, only to find the place empty again. After another 20-30 minutes, the owner finally arrived, and, incredibly, the room still wasn’t ready.
The accommodations were far below expectations, even by Albanian standards. While the rooms looked modern, the curtains didn’t fully cover the windows, the beds were uncomfortable, there weren’t enough towels, and the bathroom flooded every time I showered.
When I asked the owner for restaurant recommendations nearby, he invited me to join him and his family for dinner that evening. What he failed to mention was that there would be a charge. The dinner turned out to be a wine tasting with some small Albanian dishes. I don’t drink alcohol, and the food was terrible—poor quality, overcooked, and overly salted. While I felt bad saying so, it’s the truth. His wife, who prepares the meals after working a regular job, was clearly doing her best, but it seemed the owner was more interested in drinking wine with the guests than ensuring they had a good experience.
Breakfast the next morning was equally disappointing—a random assortment of leftovers that seemed thrown together. Some of the food even had dirt and dead flies in it. To top things off, at checkout, I was charged 20€ for the evening meal. That price might be reasonable if it included wine, but for just the food, it was a complete overcharge.
It’s baffling that this place has such high ratings, but I suspect it’s because the owner encourages guests to hand over their phones after a few drinks and then leaves himself a glowing review.
