点评：I've been to The Cup many times in the past with no complaints but now I feel like I can't show my face there from this one interaction. I'd gotten Dunkin' Donuts previously in the day and hadn't finished my drink yet, so without thinking of it, I decided to go into The Cup to do some job searching and finish my drink. I guess there must've been a sign up saying no outside food or drink, because the owner came up to me and very rudely told me no outside food or drink was allowed. I was understanding and apologized for it and went to the bathroom to quickly finish and pour the remainder of my drink into the toilet. I go back out and set up my laptop and phone into the outlets, and the entire time the staff is watching me and saw how their boss came up to me already. I was trying to recover my pride from that interaction with him when one of the workers came up to me and asked "Are you going to buy anything? You can't be here unless you purchase something from the menu." in a fake sweet voice. The place was almost dead, so it wasn't like I was taking any service away from them by simply being there. I tell her that I was planning on buying something later and she didn't look convinced and just smiled and walked off. Felt pretty humiliated, especially since the people that WERE there watched both interactions and were staring at me. I pack up my stuff and leave as quickly as I could and could feel the workers staring at me the entire time judging me. Never felt so humiliated by a place and the workers before, let alone one of my favorite coffee shops. Won't be coming back, be wary of their policies. I've had friends who have experienced similar rude interactions with the workers there. First review I've ever written for a place so I apologize for the long rant.
