点评:It is very disappointing when you go out for dinner and experience food that is no where close to what you can cook at home. Worse yet is when that restaurant touts their ribs and soul food.
Specifically I am referring to the ribs.....I was very remiss in not sending them back to the kitchen......even with a serrated knife it was very difficult to cut the meat from the rib bone. It is not supposed to fall off the bone but it is supposed to come off easily.
The pulled pork was OK but had large chunks.....my pulled pork is pulled.
Collard greens were good.....potato salad OK......maybe came from a container versus being made in the kitchen.
Our experience {first and last time} was interesting because there were quite a few diners on a Thursday evening and a lot of carry out business. Surely all those people were not first time customers and enjoyed the food prepared there.
Tipping was suggested on the bill......the good news is that the amount was figured before taxes, which is what it should be......the bad news is that it did not include the traditional 15%.
