点评：The Service and ambiance at Eddie Merlot’s in Indianapolis was very nice and inviting. Our server was friendly and helpful.
That’s where the best of this dining experience ends.
However, our tablecloth was wrinkled had remnants of broken glass on it. When we reported this to staff - they relocated us.
The new table also had a wrinkled tablecloth. Something we wouldn’t had expected from a restaurant billed as a top dining establishment.
But for a restaurant that prides itself in being the best- they sadly missed the mark.
In our opinion- The Thanksgiving meal advertised was very disappointing. The Turkey was cold and surrounded by fat strips. Bread dressing was far from perfect (poor seasoning & consistency) . The steamed green beans were undercooked.
No cranberry sauce was included in the meal - yet it had been promoted on the menu.
Positive points related to the meal: the sweet potato casserole was incredibly delicious and truly memorable; and the carrot cake was in a level of its own. It was moist, tasty, perfectly balanced with sweet flavor and a creamy texture for frosting.
As first time diners as this restaurant- we honestly had high hopes that this would be a new experience worth repeating. Unfortunately, they failed to deliver.
