点评:For some reason I tend to arrive in Bloomington on Monday’s and a lot of restaurants of closed. FARM is my go to but they are closed. Last time I tried Truffles which was good, but the vibe was odd with a cool bar area and a generic dining room. I was looking on trip advisor and C3 caught my eye, and I’m glad it did. Everything from atmosphere, to decor, service, food, all top notch. I have pretty high cocktail and food standards and everything was met. They have a lot of interesting cocktails in different categories. I tried something standard and something unique. The paper plane was spot on. The southern gentleman was very good. For food I had the shishito peppers and then the pork. The peppers were great the pork even better. The only thing I’ll call out is the pork is 2 medallions of tenderloin, with poblano mash, and a sauce. For me the first medallion was med rare. Which for me was fine, tender juicy. The 2nd was medium well. Also fine for me but the fact that the 2 were so different was worth noting and they were basically the same size. End of the day, minor detail.
C3 is definitely in my Bloomington restaurant rotation.
