点评:At 1:00 on Friday October 5, we waited 20 minutes for a table for two. No server came by, so after awhile the manager brought water and coffee. Still no server for the longest time. Note that the restaurant is clearing out now. We were getting impatient, and when he finally appeared, no apology for the delay, we weren't asked if we wanted a biscuit or cornbread to tide us over during the wait, just nothing. In the meanwhile, a man who waited behind us had received his food and was done eating before we ever got ours! Apparently he had a different server although we were in the same section. We waited even longer, still no food and no ETA updates from our server. I was now angry, got up and left, and went to a nearby Wendy's. Over an hour wasted.
After two years, we were giving Cracker Barrel another try because the experience then was as bad as this one. No improvement. It's a shame, we used to frequent this location, but it has gone decidedly downhill. Store management needs to step up! No excuse for vastly different dine-in experiences at the same time!
Also, note that the Cracker Barrel "customer experience " phone number directs you to go online, no one will talk to you. It's deceptive.
