点评：My husband and I have been wanting to check out this place for months. We went for our 17th wedding anniversary. I think the menu has changed a lot over the past months because there were several items I’d heard friends had tried that were no longer being offered. When we got in there were a few couples there but it wasn’t busy. It was like 645p on a Saturday night. I did ask for a cocktail menu right away but the server informed me they don’t have one. We ultimately ordered Long Islands and they were strong—which is what you’re looking for in that drink anyway. We ordered the elote dip with blue tortilla chips as well as the breaded mushrooms for appetizers. My husband really liked the elote dip. The flavor was pretty good and I did like the blue corn tortilla chips with it. It did have sort of a mealy texture but that wasn’t a deal breaker for me. I thought the breaded mushrooms were great. They could have been crispier but the breading flavor was really nice and I loved the cut of the mushrooms.
For our entrees we ordered burgers. I had the southern smash burger which had guacamole, roasted corn, queso fresco and beef empanadas on top. My husband got the backyard bbq burger which had a brat on top of the patty. We both ordered waffle fries. I’ll be honest, we weren’t as big a fan of the burgers. The bun was a little dry, and the “extras” not spectacular. And for a $14 burger that comes with no sides, it really should be better. The waffle fries were an additional $5 side. They were good and well seasoned but not worth that much extra. There was no dessert menu though I’d heard they previously had one. One couple came in while we were there and was surprised no steak was offered and left. The ambience is okay—lots of tvs and loud music. Small game room. Bottom line—I wouldn’t call this a full menu restaurant. But if you’re looking for tasty bar food, this is a good stop.
