Digsy's Diner的点评
点评：Finding something good when you're expecting bad is always so much more satisfying than when you’re surrounded by quality. I used to review a lot but, since COVID, the eating out experience in NI has plummeted so awfully that I got tired of writing endless criticism.
However… we were passing through Broughshane, and decided to grab a quick bite. In the past, we’ve gone to the Thatch – but their meals are generally a bit more substantial than we were looking for yesterday, and we noticed Digsy’s. It’s pretty new (18 months?) so we’d never seen it before.
To cut my ramblings short and get to the point, we loved our food. I had something called an “OG Philly” (no, me neither) which consisted of stir-fried strips of rump steak, peppers, onions, and cheese in a perfectly fresh and soft ciabatta roll. It would also have featured mustard mayo, but I don’t like mayonnaise, so they kindly left it out. It was delicious and filling.
The other thing which can make or break an establishment is the service – here it was so good it was almost embarrassing. Nothing was too much trouble for our waitress, and we left with smiles on our faces.
I almost hate giving excellent reviews too – maybe everybody will read them, and I won’t be able to get near the place next time! But Digsy’s deserves it, so here you are.
They deserve your custom.
