A Little Taste Of Heaven的点评
点评：Came with friends to celebrate my 60th birthday and had an absolutely wonderful time. First of all, the owners have made clever use of their outside space by creating a really cosy, covered area with lots of nooks and crannies, lit by lamps and with comfy armchairs and sofas - it looks so inviting when you step out, you're spoilt for choice where the best place to sit is! Someone there described it as a secret garden which is very apt really.
There is a wide variety of food on offer - we had afternoon tea which was fantastic - all beautifully fresh and delicious - and I was especially touched as they kindly made a savoury afternoon tea just for me, a wonderful and generous array of delicacies, the highlight of which was the warm cheese scone with melted cheese on top!
The waitress was friendly and made us feel most welcome: she told us our table wasn't booked after us so we settled down for a wonderful afternoon of delicious food and non-stop chat in the comfortable, relaxed surroundings.
The owner came out towards the end and asked us how the savoury tea had been as she'd never made one before! I thought this was a lovely touch and a sign of someone who really cares about their business and their customers' satisfaction.
We ended the afternoon with a little browse in the pretty gift shop at the front before heading off home, feeling very full and very happy! We definitely intend to return - highly recommended if you're in the area.
