点评:The first two times I ate at Horsch Radish I had some of the best restaurant meals in memory. I was so happy that Gibson City again had a destination German restaurant. Then last summer I brought friends there and it was the worst experience I've ever had in a restaurant. They were out of everything and had a new chef who didn't know how to cook. I ordered cauliflower tips and they arrived both burned and raw, with unmelted cheese sprinkled on them. The only bright spot was the service- the waiter was really trying and it wasn't his fault. The atmosphere was really dead- I've felt better vibes in a mortuary- there was no music and none of the jolly gaiety that used to greet you at the Bayern Stube. We waited and waited- to be seated, to get our food, to get our check. Water glasses were dirty. Food was pretty good-.adults liked their schnitzel, but children did not like their hamburgers. No bread was ever offered, though we waited 40 minutes for our food. German beer was good. Anyway, the visit was a tie- breaker for us- we won't be back. They just seem disorganized and are too inconsistent Too bad- I really wanted this testaurant to succeed, but it won't at the rate it's going.
