Amazing 5 night trip to Panama via the stunning San Blas islands

点评：Let’s get this straight. This ain’t your normal backpacker cruise crammed on like sardines serving crap food & you’re lucky if you get 1 very quick shower during the 5 night trip….. but it is the same price!!!
I sailed from Colombia to Panama, stopping at the amazing San Blas islands on sail boat Quest with captain Goeran & 1st mate/top chef Hilda. The boat is the same size as the one’s that carry up to 20 passengers but Quest only carry a maximum of 10 for your comfort. Because of this the boat is very spacious with room for everyone to sunbathe or find shade, plus plenty of room for your 3 beautifully prepared and tasty meals a day. As you’ll see from my attached photos, the meals you receive are more akin to a nice restaurant than a sail boat.
Captain Goeran has spent more time on the sea than on land and there’s nothing he doesn’t know about sailing, leaving you in very safe hands. He built the boat himself over 15 years with attention to every detail and it really shows. The cherry on the top being the fresh water maker that allows you to have unlimited fresh water to take as many showers as you like, and believe me this is a game changer when you’re in & out of the sea swimming and snorkelling etc.
I booked direct with the captain saving money. It was very simple to find their website and contact Goeran by WhatsApp, and I fired over lots of daft questions which he was very responsive to answer.
Would I recommend anyone to choose Quest? I should coco! Quest is best!
