Its location on the canal bank, away from the main road and near the renowned Udawalawa Reservoir, offers a serene and quiet environment surrounded by nature. My wife and I recently visited this resort and had an exceptional experience, thanks to Mr. Madhawa, the resort manager, and his team's outstanding service. Although the resort was not very crowded with other guests, the staff provided excellent service from the moment we arrived, making our stay highly enjoyable. The à la carte meals were delectable, and we appreciated each one thoroughly. The resort is surrounded by jackfruit trees, enhancing its natural atmosphere.
We stayed in a deluxe room, which was spacious and luxurious, equipped with all necessary amenities for a pleasant stay. The pool was adequately sized for both of us. Mr. Madhawa assisted us in arranging an early morning safari ride, providing us with a remarkable experience at the famous Udawalawa National Park. I would highly recommend Waraka Resort to anyone seeking a luxurious escape from the city, offering private time and a close connection with nature.
