Buddy's Italian Restaurant的点评
点评：Visited Pocatello and decided to try Buddy's as it is something my wife and I used to do many years ago when we came to see her parents, who lived in the city and worked at the university. It was a favorite hangout for the U crowd and I recall having several good meals there. But not this time. The paint is fading on the building's facade, and the food seems to be fading as well. We shared a spaghetti/ravioli dinner, and I found the sauce bland and off. Oddly lacking a tomato touch to it. The two meatballs also lacked flavor (were they even made of beef?) We were told it would take 25 minutes to make the ravioli, as though that would be a touch. I couldn't tell if there was any filling in that pasta, which also was pretty bland. The salad was the highlight, only because of the Buddy dressing, which is good, but the salad is nothing more than lettuce and a few thin pieces of prosciutto. That's about it. The service was fine. The atmosphere (interior) has changed little in 6 decades. Buddy's needs a facelift, both in terms of the cooking and the setting.
