Rhianon is waiting on us. She’s pleasant.
Ordered two bento boxes, one chili lime and one teriyaki chicken, I added a salad on top of the miso soup, vegetables and a California rolls for our two bento boxes. $43.96.
The miso tastes different here for some odd reason. There’s a lot of tofu and seaweed. The broth tastes a bit odd is all. The seaweed is also mushy and soft and is maybe overcooked. The broth is okay even though it tastes a bit odd
The fried rice is not good, it falls apart and doesn’t stick at all, it’s dry like the boxed rices. Not worth the $2.50 extra upgrade.
The teriyaki chicken is okay, salty, but more flavorful than the chili lime chicken. The chicken is not too dry and is moist at least.
The California roll was loose and fell apart with each roll I picked up to dip into sriracha.
The mixed green salad was so-so. Not sure it was worth the $4.50 upgrade.
The veggies are okay. Food was all subpar.
They charged us $0.50 for each side of sriracha.
The only plus of eating here is that you won’t want to eat all of your food, since it’s bit very good.
Regretting coming here and not going to the other place my husband thought might be good, Shabushi, it was a 5 star too. Oh well, you live and learn.
