I'm in town visiting from Minneapolis. I had read something about the large Basque community here and mentioned it to my friend. She said she'd always wanted to try Epi's so we did. It surpassed all expectations! I took pictures of the food, but I'm not posting them because the pictures do not do justice to the flavors. We started with the sautéed mushrooms and the calamari both of which were amazing, then soup and salad that were nice, then two of us had the citrus crusted halibut with lobster sauce and our third guest had the sizzling garlic shrimp all accompanied by mashed potatoes and fresh green peas...OMG ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! We couldn't even speak the food was so good. Everything was cooked to perfection. We were so full but had to try the green apple bread pudding and again OMG SO GOOD. If you're in the area do yourself a favor and go eat at Epi's.
