点评：Visited early Friday evening with friends. Took longer than it should for anyone to come to the table to greet us and take drinks orders. In the end I called out to one of the two servers that were in there. Unfortunately the gentleman didn’t speak much English and seemed to struggle with understanding exactly what we wanted, which, to no surprise, the drink order that came couldn’t have been more wrong.
I spoke to the other guy in there who apologized and said the other guy was very new and didn’t speak a lot of English. He ‘Si’ was nice and put it all right for us and took our food order.
As a Brit who grew up with Indian friends, visiting India, and eating 🥣 Indian food all my life, I have a very discerning palate for good Indian food. Despite the rocky start this was redeemed by the flavour of food and how it was all prepared, it was very good indeed and I won’t hesitate to return to try it again. I love to be immersed in the culture of the food that I am eating, but I do think it is important that the staff completely understand the customers order (drinks)
I hope this place continues to get better and better. I wish someone would bring an Indian restaurant to here in Bluffton, SC, it would be a goldmine and it would mean that we don’t have to travel to Savannah to get this wonderful cuisine.
