The perfect relaxing getaway - well worth the splurge

点评：We stayed in Cottage #6 at Kaya Vinyard to celebrate our wedding anniversary and get some R&R. We wanted a quiet, private, beautiful place to relax, but we also wanted the opportunity for delicious food and live music and optional events. Wow, did Kaya deliver the perfect weekend for us! The friendliness and hospitality shown by every employee was above all our expectations. The scenery was tranquil, beautiful, and the air was always fresh - I already miss the gentle mountain breezes we enjoyed during our time at our cottage and on the outdoor seating at the Kaya Tasting Room. They had live music over the weekend - the performer, Chad, was extremely talented and friendly. Just down the road at Dahlonega Resort and Vineyard on Blueberry Hill, we enjoyed a leisurely meal in the fresh air and watched the sun go down, sipping on flights of delicious wine, listening to another amazing live performance of music (Tyler), and savoring some of the best cuisine we’ve ever had the pleasure to enjoy. It was not cheap, but it was well worth the price for a special occasion! I can’t remember a more pleasant and relaxing evening. We returned for brunch the next day, and I will say the menu and prices for brunch were good, but not as worth the expenditure as the dinner (10/10 recommend).
The bed, couch, and other furnishings for the cottage were comfortable, in great condition, and well-appointed (we had everything we could need). The Kaya grounds were immaculate, and the 4x4 tour we went on was fun and informative - again, well worth the money spent. The wine was excellent, the music was lovely, the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing. We plan to bring our kids with us for a longer stay sometime in the future!
