点评：What a lovely surprise! We took a ride on a hot Fl afternoon to go geocaching. After a couple hours of searching, we decided to take a break and go to lunch. We found ourselves in Zolfo Springs with a choice of two restaurants. We were a little hesitant at first, but then noted a number of vehicles in the Pioneer restaurant. So we decided to take a chance and so glad we did. Hubby ordered the Texas Burger and fries- delicious!! The beef was fresh and flavorful. And the best fries!!! I had the chicken pot pie and it came with 3 sides!! I chose corn fritters, coleslaw and banana pudding. Again, all delicious!! And our entire meal was around $20 w/tax!! The hostess and our waitress displayed that friendly Floridian style hospitality. If you are ever in Zolfo Springs you must stop for a bite, but it is actually worth the ride as it travels along the “Cracker Trail”. Lots of history and an opportunity to experience what the ‘ole Florida’ use to be like.
