点评：The main guide did the trekking with us just at the beginning up to position 1, the first day the reason was that there was a couple that fell further behind us, it was more difficult for them to keep up, which is understandable, the second day the same the guide didn't go up with us to the summit neither, despite the fact that this couple stayed at the Pelawangan base, in this case he didn't give us any reason of why he didn't come, he simply stayed at the base. It was not a big deal, that wouldn't affect us much since we were an expedition of four and we all had enough physical abilities to face the climb, we could cope with that, in spite of this it didn't seem to us serious, although we didn't need him so much anyway.
On the other hand, the couple have been told that it was a simple trek in order to sell them the tour pack. The trekking is quite demanding and some logistics are needed to be able to do it properly. This couple decided to resign the third day because they weren't feeling prepared enough to continue, the agency didn't return them any part of the money.
When we left the Pelawangan base to go back to the village, I left my jacket in the tent, one trekker of the expedition who continued one more day towards the lake (he did 3 days 2 nights) noticed me that he had found my jacket and given to one of the porters who was going to the village later too, so that the porter could get me it back, at first the guide confirmed that they had my jacket but then none of the porters admitted that they had given my jacket that I left in the tent, the trekker who continued trekking for one day more, reaffirmed that one of them had my jacket, but none of them admitted it. The main guide didn't want to help me recover my jacket neither, the jacket was not a high quality item but it had a sentimental value.
In terms if food was ok but a little lacking quantity, I recommend that you take an extra snack or fruit because you will really need it.
To sum up, I still find Rijiani beautiful and amazing experience, it's a demanding trekking and you have to go well prepared even though when the agency try to persuade you that it is a simple trek. I didn't get satisfied with EDDY'S TREK but It's worth going there anyway, if I went again I would try to check other agencies since the experience in many aspects are clearly improvable
