点评:Our experience with Enrico's was quite disappointing. We ordered chicken parmesan and eggplant parmesan with minestrone soup to go.
The soup was a nice large portion and had lots of different vegetables. However, it tasted as though vinegar had been added to the broth. It was an interesting flavor but not at all what we expected.
Although the cheese and sauce were tasty, the chicken was a bit tough.
As for the eggplant, I could not detect any. In my first forkful all I could taste was a cheese/bread flavor. I figured that there was some breading that extended beyond the eggplant that must surely lay beneath. But, there was no detectable eggplant. The dish consisted of three thin layers, which all seemed to consist of a bread crumb and cheese mix. It did not taste bad, but it was definitely not what I expected.
As with the chicken parm, the sauce was tasty and seemed house made, and the melted cheese on top was nice and chewy. But I sure missed my eggplant.
I called to complain, but got directed to a mailbox that was full.
Since we were not far from the place and were going out to see the sunset, we packed up the remains of the dish and went back to the restaurant.
I talked to a staff member about my disappointment. She went into the kitchen and came back announcing that that is how they make eggplant parmesan. End of story.
