点评：Who needs to fly across the water to experience Greece? Tarpon Springs is filled with the white washed buildings and lots of Greek restaurants. The area is cute.
We selected a restaurant due to its name matching our dogs name . However, Sunday night in the rain, they closed early.
We found ourselves at Mykonos. They were open and welcoming. Having driven for 11 hours, welcoming was nice. Restaurant was filled with jovial people.
Service was great from the moment we walked in the door. The hostess said pick a favorite table and she would follow with menus. I am in a boot and she tapped me on the shoulder to tel me my shoe was untied. She asked if I wanted her to tie it . I declined and did it myself but how sweet. Upon being seated, our waitress came and took drink orders.
We ordered saganaki for an appetizer. When she delivered it, she asked if I wanted to video it. Having seen it many times, I was going to decline but decided others may want to see.
Food was good. Portions were huge! We were there close to closing so calamari oil wasn’t freshest but still good. After getting our bill, she brought us a honey cinnamon apple.
We never felt rushed. We felt welcome.
We want to go back.
