点评:When we visited Tampa over a year ago to see our daughter and son-in-law, we booked this restaurant, but the service was so bad that we were offered complimentary meals. On a couple of subsequent visits from the UK we have used the roof top bar which has a great buzz and fantastic views.
The week after Hurricane Melton we decided to revisit for our last night in the City before flying home.
On arrival we were told that the roof top bar was closed. Assume because of the past weather as no explanation given at all. We therefore requested a table so we could relax and have a few drinks. We were then very abruptly and rudely told if only having drinks we would have to sit at the bar. This was reasonably busy so no seats for 4. The way (and attitude!) my daughter was spoken to was so unacceptable that we promptly left although having just paid for valet parking.
This is now our last ever visit to this hotel. Having been in the service industry my entire working life, I would strongly suggest who ever is responsible for customer service training needs to be promptly replaced if you want to avoid further reputational risk. With so many other top quality restaurants around Tampa, customers have so many other choices.
