点评：Reminiscent of a similar chain in Spain, Hyppo now provides gourmet dairy and non-dairy popsicles, some even alcoholic, to a hungry audience in St. Petersburg, especially diners like us who just couldn’t find something simple, refreshing, quiet, and modest for dessert. Besides the 20 or 30 different exotic flavors, there was the option of getting each popsicle dipped in dark chocolate for an additional $1. On my first visit, I chose blueberry cheesecake blood orange dipped in chocolate, and it tasted great. Sadly, I picked a wretched mango mojito flavor on my second visit, then wandered downtown to find a normal ice cream joint (Kilwin’s) to get rid of the aftertaste. Nevertheless, it was a really fun place, with a conscientious server, a large wooden table for big groups who wanted to sit down for a few minutes, and no annoying background music to drown out conversation.
